Shubham Choudhary
Shubham Choudhary is co-founder and head of growth at Pruning Labs, the Kolkata-based software engineering studio, and a graduate of IIT Kharagpur, running client engagement and scoping - the discovery conversations that decide whether a project is worth doing, and what the first release should actually contain.
Shubham co-founded Pruning Labs and runs the commercial side of the studio: the first conversation, the discovery that follows, and the scoping decisions that determine what a first release contains.
A graduate of IIT Kharagpur, Shubham does the job nobody advertises - working out whether a client's problem is genuinely a software problem, and saying so plainly when it is not. A meaningful share of discovery calls end with a recommendation that does not involve hiring us.
Where a project does go ahead, Shubham stays on it as the point of contact through delivery, which is why clients talk to a founder rather than an account manager.
